Welcome to Via Barrapunto podem llegir que s'ha publicat una nova versió de Lazarus, la 0.9.24. Lazarus és un entorn de desenvolupament ràpid d'aplicacions -RAD- alternatiu a Delphi, que és programari lliure i multiplataforma. Com entorn alternatiu a Java o Mono és també una opció interessant, doncs la interfície gràfica es crea de forma més còmoda, com amb eines tipus Delphi, Visual Basic o SharpDevelop.
